Safety sensors are a very clever product that can not only save your equipment, but could potentially save fingers, toes or even a life. The sensing edges can be affixed to lift tables or other moving surfaces. When someone or something gets in the way of the moving equipment, these sensors are wired to immediately cut power to the device, thus avoiding any injury or damage. The safety mats work in the same way, only they are placed on the floor around critical areas. When pressure is detected, they immediately cut power to the equipment being monitored.
